Fake doctor duped hospitals, universities - msnbc.com

Last month I linked you to a story from North Carolina where a fake doctor was roaming around the hospital with a team of doctors. Today there is a report of the Associated Press finding a fake cardiologist who "shared millions in grants."  This guy is also a captain for United Airlines but thankfully his pilot credentials are in order.

Who knows how many of these fake doctors are roaming your local hospitals? Have there been other reports like this recently?

As if the state of health care in this country wasn't already screwed up. How did he go weeks before someone actually noticed that he didn't have ID? I mean, what kind of workplace is this if they just let a new guy in without HR having introduced him? How is it possible that not one person thought to ask who this new guy that is following us around?

This reminds me of those Holiday Inn Express commercials.
