Republicans exploiting 9/11 in New York

By now we've come to expect nothing less from the GOP but the tactics keep getting funnier and funnier. Once again the RNC thought it was a good idea to use photos of Osama Bin Laden and others in an attack ad. For those not aware this is the special election happening in New York to fill the seat left empty once Gov. Patterson selected Kirsten Gillibrand to fill the seat vacated by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. This ad just happens to come out the same day where Democratic candidate Scott Murphy has surged to a four-point lead over his opponent, Republican Jim Tedisco, according to a new poll.

POTUS and Special Olympics

Haven't seen the full interview from Leno yet but just saw the clip in question and I don't get the uproar. Watch the clip first.

To me it it looks likes he mentions "special olympics" because the crowd cheers his low score and the way Leno reacted to his low score. Am I wrong?

Someone already posted a clip from Rush the comedian on Youtube from today. Watch that clip.

Am I wrong that Rush completely took this out of context and is twisting words yet again? This of course is the same comedian who mocked Michael J. Fox.

Yup...yet now somehow Rush cares. Where was the outrage from the right at that point?

By the way the full Obama/Leno interview is embedded below.

NCAA Tournament

How is everyone's bracket shaping up? I ended up with three 1s and a 2 in the Final Four. I have a couple of groups going on ESPN and Yahoo. If you're interested send me an e-mail.

Andy Katz keeps getting nice basketball exclusives with President Obama. First it was the election day basketball game with then Candidate Obama. As part of that Obama agreed to fill out a NCAA Tournament bracket for ESPN. They actually put up his original bracket too.

ESPN actually submitted the entry from POTUS into their Tournament Challenge.
