So where are all the"Save the Gulf" concerts?? Where are the TV benefits with celebrities and musicians giving heart felt speeches on the poor fishermen, wildlife, beaches, loss of income and sabotaged gulf economy?? I find it very sad how these people (including our own government) are so quick to help Haiti and other countries...but sit on their butt's for this one. Just the facts. Re-Post this if you agreeAre you serious? Are people actually trying to compare this to the earthquake in Haiti? Need I remind these people that the earthquake killed over 200,000 people, injured over 300,000 and left well over a million people homeless? Yes, the Gulf Oil Spill is bad but trying to compare it to the earthquake, Katrina or any other disaster where people have died is an absolute joke.
The state government and the people who's businesses are hurt because of the spill should definitely sue BP for everything they can but lets not try and compare this to events where thousands of people died.

You've lived in the US how long without figuring out that they want anything any other country has, even if it's a tragedy that killed hundreds of thousands?
ReplyDeleteVery few things actually surprise me anymore. This one was just ridiculous though. Especially since I'm sure the majority of people who are making this complaint couldn't care less about the environment.
